Description:

As a Procurement Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in delivering mission-critical hardware and services to orbit. You’ll work alongside a high-performance team to design, execute, and improve procurement operations supporting advanced space systems and flight hardware.
In this role, you’ll report to the Senior Manager of Supply Chain and take ownership of sourcing, purchasing, vendor engagement, and process optimization. We’re looking for someone ready to take initiative, build efficient workflows, and solve procurement challenges with a sense of urgency and creativity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and purchase materials, components, equipment, and services in line with company standards and cost targets
- Apply procurement ethics and company policies to all sourcing and supplier engagements
- Collaborate with internal teams to anticipate needs and build responsive supply strategies
- Manage vendor performance to ensure delivery timelines, quality standards, and budget adherence
- Lead negotiations on pricing, delivery terms, and basic contract elements
- Create, issue, and monitor purchase orders for production materials, MRO items, and services
- Continuously improve procurement operations by partnering with internal stakeholders
- Modify purchase orders and resolve delays in payments through coordination with Accounts Payable
- Track and manage purchase requisitions; ensure compliance in submission
- Proactively address payment issues with requisitioners weekly
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and delivery optimization
- Maintain open vendor communication for accurate delivery forecasts
- Regularly update and close out purchase orders as appropriate
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives to support company growth
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree with at least two years of relevant experience; or 4+ years of related experience without a degree
- Familiarity with procurement processes in a manufacturing or aerospace setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Excellent analytical, prioritization, and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Work Environment:
- Onsite position based at the Gravity Works Facility in Centennial, CO
- Some hybrid flexibility may be considered in the future
