Description:
Tia, a full-stack women’s healthcare company, is seeking a passionate and experienced Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner to join our Virtual Care Team. Tia delivers integrated gynecology, primary care, and wellness services, combining technology and compassionate care to help women advocate for their own health. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive virtual care while influencing Tia’s care model and technology development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide virtual patient care, including annual exams, birth control consultations, STD screens, UTI and vaginal infection consults, pelvic pain, vaginal bleeding, urgent care concerns, and dermatology management
  • Triage, diagnose, and treat patients using proprietary telemedicine software
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to provide feedback for clinical tool improvement
  • Practice shared-decision making with patients, supporting them as partners in their healthcare journey
  • Maintain accurate documentation, interpret lab and ultrasound results, and act on findings
  • Adapt brick-and-mortar clinical experience to virtual care delivery
  • Work evenings and weekends as scheduled

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Board certified Nurse Practitioner with active, unrestricted New York license
  • At least 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience in primary care and women’s health
  • Strong telemedicine skills and comfort with digital healthcare delivery
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Expertise in interpreting clinical labs and imaging results
  • Inclusive, sex-positive, and trauma-informed care approach
  • Tech-savvy, data-driven, and committed to continuously incorporating research into practice

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with diverse patient populations, including LGBTQ+, immigrant, and low-income communities
  • Training in integrative medicine or trauma-informed care
  • Experience with chronic stress and immune system/ inflammatory response considerations
  • Licensure in additional states such as California
  • Contracted with major payers (BCBS / Anthem, Cigna, Aetna, United)
