This is a remote position based in the U.S., with preference for candidates in the EST zone due to team alignment.
As a Staff Accountant II, you will play a crucial role in managing core accounting functions, driving accurate financial operations, and supporting organizational growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support key accounting activities, including North America General Ledger close, global consolidation, and financial reporting.
- Handle month-end close processes, ensuring accurate reconciliations for cash, accruals, and intercompany accounts.
- Prepare and analyze detailed schedules to maintain financial accuracy.
- Act as a primary point of contact during audits, providing essential documentation and insights.
- Contribute to process improvements, system enhancements, and integration of acquisitions.
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and GAAP.
- Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Accounting Manager.
Required Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 2-4+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficiency with ERP and reporting systems (Oracle/Netsuite preferred).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
- Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, analysis, and data consolidation.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Self-starter with the ability to adapt quickly, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary range: $67,150 – $82,950
