Description:
Sligo Software Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Sr. iOS Developer to design, develop, and implement a mobile and back-office system for the Department of Agriculture and Markets. The primary focus of this role is to develop the AGM Plant Back Office Support System (AGM Plant BOSS) to streamline operations and provide robust support to end users.

This position requires hands-on involvement in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and end-user support. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Apple Swift and SwiftUI frameworks, SQLite databases, and translating business requirements into functional design specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct system analysis and design for the AGM Plant BOSS application
• Develop, test, and iterate on mobile and back-office solutions
• Demonstrate iterative builds to internal teams and stakeholders
• Document development processes, procedures, and technical specifications
• Participate in collaborative design sessions
• Provide end-user training and support for testing
• Assist in user acceptance testing, including defining functional scripts and business use cases
• Facilitate written knowledge transfer to team members and stakeholders

Mandatory Requirements:

• Minimum 12 years of experience in software development, covering research, design, programming, testing, and implementation
• 60 months of experience with Apple Swift using the SwiftUI framework
• 84 months of experience developing with the Apple Swift programming language
• 60 months of experience working with SQLite databases
• 36 months of experience translating business requirements into design specifications and mockups
• 36 months of experience supporting testing teams during user acceptance testing
• Ability to provide copies of candidate identification and relevant professional documentation
