Description:
Piper Companies is looking for a highly skilled Sr. Full Stack Developer to join an enterprise client in Durham, NC. This role is a long-term contract position with the potential to transition into a permanent role after six months. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in full-stack development using the Microsoft technology stack and will be comfortable contributing to all stages of application design and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using .Net, C#, and Azure.
  • Participate actively in hands-on development using the Microsoft technology stack.
  • Develop and enhance front-end components with advanced React skills.
  • Collaborate with team members to implement DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Apply modern testing methodologies including TDD, security testing, and mock frameworks.
  • Support API design and development, including working with Microservices architecture (REST, GraphQL, NodeJS) as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced experience in .Net development.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD, automated security, and quality testing.
  • Experience with API design & development and Microservices architecture is a plus.
  • Proficiency in modern testing frameworks, TDD, and mock testing approaches.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hourly rate: $55 per hour.
