Description:
TEKsystems is seeking a versatile and motivated Site Support Specialist to join their IT team in Pittsboro, IN. This role blends Level 1 and Level 2 helpdesk responsibilities, focusing on resolving tickets related to password resets, permissions, printers, network devices, and hardware/software service. Approximately 90% of the work involves handling support tickets, while 10% is allocated to project-based tasks. The organization emphasizes internal growth, providing opportunities for project experience and career advancement within the IT department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Handle helpdesk tickets, including password resets, permissions, and printer/network troubleshooting.
  • Offer desktop support and troubleshoot customer and internal IT problems.
  • Work with Office 365, Active Directory, ServiceNow, and other IT systems.
  • Collaborate with leadership and communicate effectively to ensure smooth IT operations.
  • Participate in training sessions to stay current with new technologies and procedures.
  • Support projects to expand IT knowledge and contribute to team initiatives.
  • Act as a “jack of all trades” for onsite support needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong desktop support, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.
  • Technical support experience with helpdesk or service desk environments.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, Office 365, and general IT systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, willing to learn, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident and professional demeanor when interacting with leadership and colleagues.
