Spreetail is currently looking for a Senior Accountant to support its expanding finance organization. This role is responsible for owning complex accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and partnering cross-functionally to strengthen processes and internal controls. The position requires strong technical accounting knowledge, a results-driven mindset, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing monthly financial statements and investigating variances against prior periods and prior years
  • Performing GAAP-compliant accounting for complex transactions
  • Executing advanced accounting processes such as detailed balance sheet reconciliations, GAAP research, and audit support
  • Working closely with external auditors and supporting audit-related requests
  • Designing and delivering reporting, metrics, and insights that drive informed decision-making
  • Leading workstreams and resolving issues through effective cross-functional communication
  • Defining, documenting, and improving accounting policies, business processes, and internal controls
  • Supporting the implementation of new accounting systems and software initiatives

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000, depending on geographic location, experience, and job-related skills.
