Description:
Charles Taylor Safety Solutions is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee safety operations on a large commercial construction project in Dulles, VA. This 1099 contract role requires a proactive professional with strong knowledge of occupational health and safety practices, capable of ensuring a safe work environment for all personnel. The position involves direct on-site oversight of steel erection and paneling activities, while maintaining compliance with safety standards.

Project Details:

• 40–50 hours per week (Monday–Friday; Saturday as needed).
• 6-month contract duration.
• On-site work with direct supervision of steel erection and paneling on a large commercial construction project.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct project safety inspections and employee orientations.
• Provide safety training as required.
• Observe and monitor worksite employees and enforce safety practices.
• Review documentation, manage contractor correspondence, and maintain accurate safety records.
• Perform other duties relevant to EHS within the manager’s certifications and skillset.
• Communicate safety standards effectively between trades, general contractors, and sub-contractors.
