Description:
Allergy & ENT Associates is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Revenue Cycle Project Specialist to lead and manage projects aimed at enhancing the organization’s revenue cycle processes. This role is pivotal in optimizing financial operations, ensuring accurate compensation for healthcare services, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee RCM projects from start to finish, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and deadlines, covering all stages of revenue cycle operations.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate current revenue cycle workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend actionable improvements to optimize performance and reduce costs.
  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret revenue cycle data to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Partner with billing, coding, finance, IT, and other cross-functional teams to implement and monitor project solutions.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations outlining project progress, outcomes, and impacts on revenue cycle performance.
  • Compliance & Regulations: Ensure all projects adhere to healthcare regulations, billing standards, and organizational policies. Stay informed about changes in coding and billing requirements.
  • Training, Quality Audit, and Support: Provide staff training, conduct quality audits, and offer ongoing support for new processes and technologies implemented through RCM projects.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear communication with stakeholders to ensure project alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Proficiency in healthcare billing and coding practices
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in team settings
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
  • Certifications desirable: PMP, CRCP, RHIT, CPC (through AHIMA or AAPC)
