The Payroll Administrator will join the Finance team and play a key role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. This role involves payroll processing, record maintenance, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration with HR, finance, and legal teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Calculate employee pay, manage deductions including taxes, garnishments, and benefits, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with HR, finance, and legal to maintain accurate payroll records and resolve payroll-related employee inquiries.
  • Facilitate employee enrollment in benefits and maintain records for company benefit plans.
  • Manage electronic timekeeping systems and review timesheets for accuracy.
  • Process payroll runs including salaries, overtime, bonuses, and other compensation.
  • Maintain payroll records and generate reports for payroll summaries and reconciliations.
  • Support audits by providing documentation and ensuring payroll compliance with internal controls.
  • Assist with year-end payroll processes including issuing tax forms and reconciling accounts.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of payroll experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of payroll and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with HRIS/payroll systems such as Workday is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
  • Knowledge of basic wage and tax laws.
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with ability to manage multiple tasks accurately.
