MyEyeDr. is currently inviting applications for a Part-Time Optometrist (OD) to join its established practice in Somerset, PA. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and overall ocular health.
  • Diagnose and manage vision conditions using established clinical practices and advanced diagnostic tools.
  • Clearly document clinical findings and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Educate patients about their eye health, treatment options, and long-term vision care plans.
  • Collaborate closely with office staff to ensure a smooth, welcoming, and personalized patient experience.
  • Utilize modern equipment and clinical techniques to deliver high-quality care.
  • Maintain professional communication with patients and team members to ensure patient satisfaction and compliance.

Education and Licensing Requirements:

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active and unrestricted state license to practice optometry prior to employment start date.
  • National Provider Identification (NPI) number required.
  • Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agent (TPA) license required.
  • Previous experience in clinical, retail, educational, or medical optometry settings is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients and operate required clinical equipment.
