Description:
Thinkbyte Consulting Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to manage, organize, and support all inventory operations within our Carmel facility. This role ensures smooth handling of stock, accurate record-keeping, and efficient coordination with vendors while maintaining high standards of operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee inventory management processes, including receiving, issuing, logging, shipping, and stock replenishment
- Handle stockroom and warehouse operations such as loading/unloading, vendor coordination, and managing surplus or unclaimed property
- Maintain accurate records and perform data entry using automated inventory systems and requisition processing
- Provide administrative support, including reviewing work orders, scheduling inventory activities, reporting, and telephone support
- Manage automotive parts and supplies, ensuring proper storage, distribution, and participation in inspection programs
- Maintain clear and professional communication, uphold confidentiality, work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain organizational standards in inventory control
Requirements:
- Valid Indiana Driver’s License
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with computer systems and automated inventory platforms
