A leading firm is seeking an Accountant to join their team in Westerly. This role will report into the Controller and is responsible for assisting accounting operations as well as some financial reporting. This includes but is not limited to:

• Accounting functions of month ends, journal entries, reconciliations, and accounts payables.
• Working with fixed assets.
• Assisting with some basic financial reporting.
• Using ERP software.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Equivalent to a B.S. degree in Accounting, or related field
• 2+ years of work experience in accounting/finance.
• Experience with JD Edwards or similar ERP systems.
• Familiarity with Accounts Payable processes.
• Strong skills with MS Excel.
