Description:
PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is seeking two skilled GIS Analysts for a fully onsite assignment in Plymouth Meeting, PA. This 12-month contract position (with likely extension) offers a collaborative and fast-paced work environment where attention to detail, technical expertise, and effective communication are essential. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, starting mid- to late-March 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct QA/QC of drawings, plans, and layouts to ensure accuracy according to engineer, architect, or designer specifications
- Interpret design changes and incorporate them into technical drawings
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements
- Create advanced 2D and 3D models using GIS and CAD software
- Read and interpret technical drawings and plans, using tools such as GTECH and MicroStation Connect
- Prepare mapping packages for field crews, including MOB packages and Plymouth assignments
- Process service and meter packages, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate
- Research and categorize preliminary as-built work
- Support rejection workflows and correct data issues
- Review contractor mapping submissions for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with naming conventions and standards
- Develop quick-reference guides and best-practice documents for team use
- Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced setting
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in GIS CAD technology and MicroStation Connect
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to interpret calculations and measurements for design implementation
