Description:
Jovie is seeking enthusiastic and reliable caregivers to provide flexible babysitting support for local families during evenings and weekends. This role offers 3+ hour shifts from Friday through Sunday, typically between 4 PM and Midnight. Care responsibilities include preparing meals, engaging children in creative activities like arts and crafts, board and card games, baking, outdoor play, guiding bedtime routines, and staying with the children until parents return home. This is a fun opportunity to work in a family environment while earning extra income.

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive and safe care for children in their home environment.
• Prepare meals and snacks as needed.
• Organize and lead age-appropriate activities including arts and crafts, games, and outdoor play.
• Assist with bedtime routines and ensure children are comfortable and secure until parents arrive.
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding children’s activities and needs.

Requirements:

• Ability to provide three references, with at least two related to childcare experience.
• Personal childcare experience is valuable (e.g., caring for younger siblings).
• Experience working with children, including special needs experience (preferred).
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• CPR and First Aid certified, or willing to obtain certification.
• Availability to work a minimum of two shifts per week (Friday–Sunday, 4 PM – Midnight).
• Commitment to following CDC guidelines and hygiene best practices during and outside work hours.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly wage between $16 – $18.
