Description:
HUGO by RGP is looking for a highly motivated and detail-focused Financial Analyst to join its Finance department. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing key financial data, preparing meaningful reports, and providing actionable insights that will directly contribute to strategic decision-making and overall business growth. The position reports to the Senior Financial Analyst / Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate, evaluate, and interpret financial data, including budgets, income statements, and forecasts, to align with company objectives.
  • Develop advanced financial models while performing benchmarking, variance analysis, and assessments of business processes.
  • Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations aimed at cost optimization and improved financial performance.
  • Monitor financial results against forecasts and report on variances.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and risk assessments for presentation to senior stakeholders.
  • Conduct market, industry, and internal trend analyses to support business strategies.
  • Identify and resolve financial discrepancies by gathering, reviewing, and correcting data.
  • Remain current on financial regulations, tax laws, and evolving industry practices.
  • Collaborate with leadership on strategic planning and long-term financial initiatives.
  • Support and lead initiatives to enhance financial processes, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in financial analysis or a comparable role.
  • Strong expertise in financial forecasting, corporate finance, and data analysis.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and financial tools such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks.
  • Knowledge of statistical software for data analysis (e.g., R, SPSS, SAS).
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation abilities.
  • Thorough understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial compliance.
  • Analytical thinker with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as CFA or CPA.
  • Previous experience in policy development or financial process improvement.
