Description:
Zelis is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Client Data Specialist to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and completeness of client accounts, particularly regarding payer contracts and fee schedules. The Client Data Specialist supports Client Success Managers and plays a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and readiness of accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain up-to-date payer contracts and fee schedules for client accounts.
  • Perform data discovery and entry tasks, including formatting spreadsheets and accurately modeling fee schedules.
  • Read, interpret, and understand payer contract terms to ensure proper documentation.
  • Complete task lists efficiently and provide timely progress updates.
  • Deliver high-quality, detail-oriented work to ensure accounts are prepared and accurate.
  • Communicate directly with clients about the details of their payer contracts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to conduct research, resolve issues, and implement preventative measures.
  • Support escalated and complex client issues, investigating solutions and communicating clearly with stakeholders.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to client service strategies and improvement initiatives.
  • Assist team members during peak periods or when additional support is required.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree with 1 year of experience, or High School Diploma with 3 years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of physician and/or hospital reimbursement methodologies.
  • Experience modeling fee schedules or working with physician/hospital billing processes.
  • Proficiency using AI tools, including developing intelligent prompts or agents.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and support tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently or within a team.
  • Demonstrated empathy and patience when interacting with clients.
