Description:
Microsoft is seeking a skilled Business Administration professional to support its Hardware, Infrastructure Management, and Fundamentals Engineering (HIFE) team. This role plays a key part in ensuring operational excellence for cloud hardware manufacturing, improving planning, quality, delivery, scale, and sustainability. Responsibilities:
- Manage calendars with precision, ensuring alignment to leadership priorities and conflict resolution.
- Plan and coordinate complex domestic and international travel itineraries.
- Reconcile expenses accurately and in a timely manner.
- Develop time management best practices to support managers in achieving business goals.
- Collaborate with SCHIE Business Administrators on shared priorities.
- Provide coordination and logistical support for meetings and events, including All Hands, morale events, team training, and leadership offsites.
- Assist with headcount management, org chart maintenance, distribution, and security group ownership.
- Support team operations, including space management, office moves, new hire onboarding, and procurement of equipment and supplies.
- Demonstrate cultural awareness and experience working with global teams.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
- Ensure compliance with administrative policies and procedures.
- Participate proactively in leadership team initiatives and special projects.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years administrative, business support, or customer service experience.
- Preferred: 3+ years experience with scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and basic administration.
- 1+ year experience managing administrative budgets (events, morale, travel, training) preferred.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize, complete projects on time, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate initiative.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel). Knowledge of internal tools such as Employee Central, HR Catalog, MSExpense2, MyOrder, and MS Travel is a plus.
Compensation:
The base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $25.10 – $43.80 per hour, with variations for San Francisco Bay Area and New York City at $35.72 – $51.11 per hour. Certain roles may be eligible for additional benefits and compensation.
