As an Assistant Manager at Wonder, you will work closely with the General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, support staff development, ensure food and team member safety, and provide outstanding customer service. You will play a key role in creating a positive work environment and achieving operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

Manage Operations and Drive Results

• Assist the General Manager in developing, motivating, and inspiring staff members
• Recruit, train, and retain top talent for the restaurant
• Support GM in achieving operational goals and budget targets
• Maintain clear communication regarding team priorities, achievements, and protocol updates
• Optimize staff deployment for efficient floor management
• Drive sales and service efficiency by resolving operational obstacles
• Supervise inventory and food safety protocols, including shelf life and product dating
• Participate in ongoing training and development for kitchen and dining operations

Manage Food Safety and Team Member Safety

• Ensure consistent adherence to food safety and security standards

Provide Best in Class Customer Service

• Ensure all team members deliver exceptional customer service

Experience & Skills

• Minimum of 2 years in restaurant management or supervisory roles in high-volume QSR or full-service restaurants
• Proven ability to manage and develop teams of 15+ members
• Strong leadership, motivation, and team-building skills
• Attention to detail and focus on operational efficiency
• Professionalism with adherence to policies and procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong team player

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older and legally authorized to work in the US
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for full shifts
• Open availability, including nights and weekends
• Current Food Handlers Certification
