Description:
Trigild is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to oversee a dynamic portfolio of distressed commercial properties currently in receivership. This position requires a proactive, independent professional who can adapt to changing portfolios, resolve operational challenges, and work collaboratively across multiple departments. The Asset Manager will focus on optimizing asset value and preparing properties for their next stage, including lease-up, sale, or refinancing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute strategic business plans tailored to the operational and market positioning needs of each asset
  • Ensure high standards in financial performance, tenant relations, maintenance, and timely reporting
  • Engage in property-level financial oversight including reviewing monthly management reports for budget variances
  • Collaborate with legal teams to address complexities related to assets in receivership
  • Assist with analysis and due diligence for new acquisitions and transactional support
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual) for internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage cash flow modeling and evaluate capital calls, investor distributions, and long-term financial planning
  • Develop analytical tools to support strategic decision-making for senior leadership
  • Ensure compliance with lender covenants, property tax payments, insurance obligations, and escrow funding
  • Lead process improvement initiatives by partnering with other departments to enhance reporting and operational workflows
  • Oversee leasing activity, including third-party brokers, lease negotiations, and tenant renewals across the portfolio

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in asset management with involvement in leasing, capital improvements, financing, and property dispositions
  • Proven track record working with distressed commercial real estate (Class B and C properties preferred)
  • Exposure to legal matters involving commercial receivership is highly desirable
  • Comfortable navigating high-pressure environments and frequently changing asset portfolios
  • Excellent financial acumen, including knowledge of commercial leases, debt and equity structures, and financial modeling
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel, with experience building user templates
  • Familiarity with collaboration software and digital tools used in asset management
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for internal coordination and tenant interface
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on problem-solving and decision-making
