TDP Bakery is seeking a dependable and detail-focused Administrative Assistant to support daily bakery office operations on a part-time basis. This role is essential in keeping administrative workflows organized and efficient, assisting with phone communications, invoice handling, and uniform management. The ideal candidate is adaptable, organized, and comfortable supporting a variety of clerical tasks as operational needs evolve.
This position supports the Bakery Operations department and works closely with leadership to ensure smooth day-to-day office coordination. The schedule for this role is Tuesday through Saturday, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
Phone Support
- Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Take clear and accurate messages and ensure appropriate follow-up when required
Invoice Support
- Print, scan, and organize invoices as requested
- Maintain both digital and physical invoice records using an orderly filing system
Uniform Closet Management
- Keep the uniform closet clean, organized, and well-maintained
- Monitor uniform inventory levels and notify leadership when restocking is needed
- Assist with issuing, sorting, storing, and tracking uniforms
General Administrative Support
- Perform a range of clerical and administrative tasks as assigned
- Support daily office operations through filing, data entry, document preparation, scanning, and other routine duties
Qualifications:
- Previous administrative experience is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Comfortable answering phones and interacting professionally with employees and visitors
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 20 pounds when handling inventory or paperwork
- Ability to work in a standard office environment
