We are seeking experienced, state-certified teachers for year-round virtual positions in various subjects including Family & Consumer Sciences, Engineering, Criminal Justice, MN World Language, TX Healthcare/Health Sciences, FL Computer Science, TX CTE, CO CTE, and TN CTE.

As a Virtual Teacher, you will provide academic support and instruction through a combination of synchronous and asynchronous methods, using live chat, email, phone, and virtual conferencing technologies. You will guide students through their coursework, grade assignments, communicate with parents and school administrators, and ensure student success while maintaining engagement in an online learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver academic guidance and support for online students in your subject area
• Facilitate synchronous instructional sessions using web conferencing and virtual whiteboard tools
• Conduct 1:1 tutoring sessions to address individual student needs
• Orient students to virtual courses and enforce participation and academic integrity guidelines
• Modify and enrich course content to support student comprehension and engagement
• Implement accommodations as outlined in Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
• Maintain active teaching licenses, clearances, and credentials
• Communicate regularly with parents, administrators, and partnering clients
• Complete required onboarding and training programs
• Maintain professionalism in all interactions and meet deadlines for multiple projects

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Access to a computer, high-speed internet, and phone connection
• State teacher certification in relevant subject area
• At least 3 years of teaching experience
• Willingness to obtain additional certifications or fingerprint clearance as needed
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the ability to learn new online systems quickly
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining a student-focused approach
