Daily Responsibilities:

  • Provide clerical support to the team
  • Manage mail distribution and electronic filing
  • Prepare legal documents and maintain organized files
  • Assist with travel arrangements and take meeting minutes
  • Handle expense reports and operate the switchboard

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in shorthand and understanding of legal terminology
  • Experience with dictaphone and transcription of dictation
  • Knowledge of office procedures, grammar, and document preparation
  • Ability to handle legal document requisitions and preparation
  • Strong keyboarding skills and experience in sorting documents

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience as a legal assistant
  • Familiarity with file maintenance and processing expense reports
  • Ability to assist with travel arrangements
