We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll/Accounting Specialist to join our team in Selma, CA. This role supports day-to-day payroll operations by processing payroll transactions, ensuring accurate employee payments, maintaining payroll records, and reconciling payroll-related documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in processing payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring correct employee hours, pay rates, and deductions
  • Track and reconcile payroll documentation, including time records and payroll approvals
  • Prepare and distribute payments, such as checks or direct deposit confirmations, according to established procedures
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies by investigating issues, verifying supporting documentation, and coordinating corrections
  • Maintain organized payroll files for proper recordkeeping, audits, and compliance
  • Provide support to employees regarding payroll questions, pay statements, and basic payroll processes
  • Support finance and HR teams with payroll reporting and administrative tasks as needed
