About the Role

Odyssey Systems is seeking a highly skilled Executive Assistant to join the Space Systems Command (SSC) Military Communication and Positioning, Navigation and Timing Directorate (CG) within the United States Space Force. This exciting opportunity involves supporting the SSC/CG program office as they deliver premier capabilities that are resilient against evolving threats through relentless dedication to warfighter requirements and acquisition excellence.

As the Executive Assistant, you will serve as the principal point of contact for interface and coordination with Mission Services (SSC/CGO). You’ll deliver technical guidance and consultation support to managers and team members across all Human Resource, Personnel, and Administrative functions.

This full-time position is based in Colorado Springs, CO, with on-site work at Schriever Space Force Base and telework options available for local candidates based on customer requirements.

Position is contingent upon contract award

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will encompass a wide range of administrative and support functions, including but not limited to:

  • Task Management & Reporting: Handle diverse assignments including data calls, document reviews, acquisition reporting, travel coordination, media inquiries, and mandatory reporting requirements directed by Congress, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Secretary of the Air Force, Headquarters Air Force, Headquarters Space Force, Space Systems Command, and local entities. Ensure all responses receive proper program office approval before submission to the PEO and release to requestors for closure.
  • Database Administration: Execute tasks such as adding and removing employees from systems, navigating databases efficiently, and assisting the Government timekeeper with the Automated Time Attendance and Production System database management.
  • Comprehensive Support Services: Deliver wide-ranging support including responding to routine inquiries, preparing reports, papers, and presentation materials, reviewing staff packages with change recommendations, organizing calendars and conference room schedules, scheduling and setting up meetings and conferences, creating and maintaining staff presentation slides, managing telephone communications and message relay, processing employee in/out procedures, mail distribution, updating and submitting recall rosters, and tracking military and civilian personnel actions for assigned offices.
  • Meeting Participation: Actively participate in Government-directed OSS functional meetings and coordination sessions.
  • Travel Coordination: Function as Travel Clerk performing Defense Travel System (DTS) operations on behalf of travelers, including reserving airline tickets, hotel accommodations, and rental vehicles, preparing detailed itineraries, and assisting travelers with voucher completion upon their return.

Required Qualifications

  • Citizenship: Must be a United States citizen
  • Security Clearance: Secret clearance required
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Minimum of 9 years of relevant professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or higher with at least 7 years of experience in a related field

OR

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with at least 3 years of demonstrated experience in a related field

Work Environment

The position is primarily on-site at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO. Telework capabilities are available for local candidates, with the percentage of remote work determined at the customer’s discretion.

Final compensation packages are determined by multiple factors including Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant professional experience, specific competencies and skills, geographic location, educational background, and professional certifications.
