WalkMe, an SAP company, is looking for a passionate Full Stack Software Engineer to join their team in New York, NY. WalkMe’s Digital Adoption Platform (DAP) helps businesses harness technology effectively, boost employee productivity, and maximize digital assets. In collaboration with SAP, WalkMe enhances ERP solutions while improving user experience and driving organizational efficiency.

This role allows you to contribute beyond coding, directly impacting the product and online user experience. WalkMe seeks individuals who are passionate about clean code, high performance, innovative design, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop end-to-end solutions, from gathering requirements to deploying in production.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend and frontend services.
• Continuously improve the platform using best practices and modern technologies.
• Identify and implement enhancements in codebase and development processes to increase efficiency and scalability.
• Monitor system health, resolve performance bottlenecks, and manage bugs and technical debt.
• Ensure high test coverage and thoroughly test new features before deployment.
• Document technical implementations and architectural decisions for cross-team collaboration.
• Lead and contribute to backend development using microservices architecture and modern design patterns.
• Drive complex client-side development with a focus on performance and usability.
• Assist the team in achieving project goals and meeting schedules.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 5+ years of experience with Web technologies.
• 3+ years of experience in NodeJS.
• 1+ year of experience with Angular or React.
• Experience with MongoDB, MySQL, RESTful APIs, and backend platformization.
• Proven experience architecting and developing high-performance systems.
• Experience working on large code projects shared by multiple teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive mindset.
• US Citizenship required to support Federal business.
• Able to work hybrid (3 days a week in office).
