Description:
The LA Clippers are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inventory Analyst to support our expanding retail operations at Intuit Dome. The ideal candidate will excel in merchandise planning and allocation, optimizing inventory flow to ensure the right products reach the right stores at the right time. This role involves analyzing sales and stock data, managing inventory replenishment, supporting new product launches, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including Buying, Marketing, and Store Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and allocate initial stock using Store/Product Volume Ranking Indexes and Allocation Plan analysis
  • Monitor and manage post-game replenishment based on store performance, trends, product performance, and marketing/promotional needs
  • Allocate and manage core product replenishment (e.g., jerseys) using trigger models
  • Establish model stock thresholds by style, size, and store location
  • Collaborate with Store Operations and Warehouse to execute allocation strategies and align with retail strategies
  • Analyze and update size profiles by store and product category for both initial and replenishment allocations
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and recommendations to guide buys and assortment strategies
  • Develop a deep understanding of store-level performance, variances, trends, and attributes to influence allocation decisions
  • Prepare weekly business recaps, identifying opportunities to improve sales and stock

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, capable of processing large datasets
  • Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and SUMIFS
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Extremely detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Passion for retail and trend analysis

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be available to work flexible schedules, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays, to cover NBA games and high-profile events
