Description:
Nextracker Inc. is seeking a motivated Sales Analyst to join our team in Fremont, CA. In this role, you will support sales operations, provide financial and business analysis, and contribute to strategic deal-making and bid strategies. The position requires collaboration across multiple teams and a strong focus on customer satisfaction and process improvement.
- Coordinate the sales proposal process and generate accurate quotes
- Provide creative input to enhance bid strategies
- Track sales activities using NetSuite ERP and Salesforce.com CRM systems
- Manage CRM system reporting, improvements, and modifications
- Generate sales reports and presentations for stakeholders
- Develop and maintain sales models, ensuring positive contribution margins on all sales
- Collaborate with Global Sales and Business Development teams on deal structuring and bid strategy
- Work closely with Marketing and Product Management teams to provide insights on new products
- Partner with Customer Care to ensure efficient communications and excellent customer satisfaction
- Streamline, standardize, and improve proposal templates, client presentations, and bankability binders
- Build strong relationships with other departments including Customer Applications, Cost Accounting, Logistics, and Engineering to ensure timely delivery and high-quality products
- Periodically analyze orders and quotes to evaluate hit rates, top market segments, lead sources, and effectiveness of value propositions
- Support the Director of Sales Operations and Manager of Sales Analysis on ad-hoc projects
Required Qualifications:
- BS/BA in business or technical field; MBA preferred
- Experience in sales analysis, financial analysis, business development, or program management
- Solar industry experience is a plus
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with CRM tools, Salesforce.com preferred
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- High attention to detail in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Passion for solar energy is a plus
