Description:
Siemens is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Business Administrator to join our dynamic team in Wendell, NC. This role is ideal for recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience across multiple business functions. The successful candidate will support employee onboarding, market research, sales support, and calendar/meeting management.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Employee Onboarding Support
- Coordinate onboarding logistics including new hire paperwork, orientation schedules, and internal communications
- Partner with HR and hiring managers to ensure a seamless onboarding experience
- Coordinate with IT to provision laptops, accounts, and system access for new employees
- Maintain accurate onboarding documentation and update employee records
Market Research
- Conduct industry, competitor, and customer research to support business and marketing initiatives
- Summarize findings into actionable insights and assist in creating reports and presentations
- Monitor market trends and support strategic planning efforts
Sales Support
- Assist the sales team with CRM data entry, lead tracking, and proposal preparation
- Coordinate logistics for internal and client-facing meetings and follow-ups
- Support documentation, communication, and pipeline updates
Calendar and Meeting Management
- Manage team and leadership calendars, schedule meetings, and prevent conflicts
- Prepare agendas, take notes, and track action items from key meetings
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for efficient scheduling
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to multitask, take initiative, and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship or project experience in administrative support, sales, or marketing
- Familiarity with CRM systems, especially Salesforce.com
- Understanding of basic IT onboarding processes (e.g., laptop setup, system access)
