Description:
The Accounts Receivable Clerk II is a key member of the finance team, responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer invoices and payment applications. This role demands a detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and strong critical thinking. The successful candidate will help maintain healthy cash flow and foster positive client relationships through responsive financial support.

  • Generate and distribute precise customer invoices and account statements promptly
  • Collaborate with internal teams to verify billing information and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare invoicing packets for review and approval, ensuring all necessary documentation is included
  • Record and apply customer payments accurately, keeping accounts receivable records up to date
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Compile and present reports on receivables, payment trends, and outstanding balances to management
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing requested records and clarifications
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Identify and escalate billing issues or payment delays to appropriate stakeholders
  • Contribute to process improvements to enhance billing efficiency and accuracy
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education And Experience:

  • Typically requires 1-2 years of relevant experience and a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Candidates with 0 years of experience may qualify with an associate’s degree, additional training, or relevant certification

Competencies/Skills:
