We are currently looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our maintenance operations at our Newman, CA facility. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring our production lines run efficiently and safely in a 24/7 environment. You’ll supervise maintenance activities, manage a team, and work closely with plant engineers and facility leadership to improve safety, equipment reliability, and production output.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise maintenance staff during assigned shifts and coordinate daily tasks and project execution.
• Partner with facility and engineering teams to enhance workplace safety and improve equipment performance.
• Manage capital projects and routine maintenance for buildings, equipment, and utility systems.
• Utilize computerized systems for preventive maintenance scheduling and documentation.
• Ensure critical systems like refrigeration, steam, and compressed air are fully operational.
• Implement corrective actions based on performance metrics to improve equipment efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA standards, company policies, and safety regulations.
• Keep all technical documentation and maintenance records current.
• Enforce safety and sanitation policies with all personnel, vendors, and contractors.
• Provide team leadership by planning, organizing, training, and performance managing maintenance employees.
• Assist in labor relations where collective bargaining agreements exist.
• Support development of team skills through training and evaluation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience in dairy, food, or beverage manufacturing.
• Experience supervising maintenance teams.
• Familiarity with equipment such as boilers, PLCs, refrigeration systems, and packaging machinery.
• Competency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, including reading schematics and ladder logic.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and maintenance software.
• Ability to manage change, prioritize tasks, and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead, mentor, and inspire maintenance staff.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Physical Requirements & Environment:

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted.
• Exposure to a range of temperatures, moving machinery, and noise levels above 85dB.
• Visual requirements include color vision, depth perception, and ability to focus.
• Frequent walking, climbing, kneeling, bending, and manual dexterity required for tool use and computer entry.

Work Schedule: Sunday to Thursday, 3:00 AM – 12:00 PM
